'Traveller Girl':Florals Mix&Match

One of my final collection outfits:Still in Progress.

I have broken up from Uni for Easter Break, so have been busy with a long list of project work I have to get done,in order to stay on top of it all,and to make my last months,of University less stressful,to make the most of the time left.

I'm experimenting with toilés as I'm still in the decission process of which final six outfits to make.

I also have to make two of the final outfits which had been decided in my Critical Review/Presentation,and the one above is one of them,but I still need to make another garment to complete this outfit.

Im very pleased with it so far,it's exciting to start working on the final outfits ,experimenting with colour and prints.

Traveller Girl Necklaces

Traveller Girl Necklaces.

In a previous post, I showed you all my 'Traveller Girl' earrings for my Final Major Project, as I am now at the stage of thinking about the styling of my collection.

I have made necklaces, rings and bracelets, below is just the necklaces for now, I will post the other accessories soon...

Each Accessorie is unique, either it be,by its feather,charm or bead that I have bought and collected through the years from broken jewels and found bits and bobs.

Traveller Girl Accessories

Traveller Girl Accessories.

My 'Traveller Girl' project, is coming along really well at the moment, though Im slightly behind, with toilés in need of adjusting and further experimentation. I'm really excited with the progress and outcomes of this project. I'm now at the stage of considering styling;shoes,bags and accessories.

I've never made earrings before, so delved straight in and made these six, individual earrings. Each unique, either by its feather, bead, coin, key and one with mini travel journal...

Traveller Girl in Illustrator.

'Traveller Girl' Final Major Project.

My apolgies for not posting much in the last few weeks and for not getting back to your lovely comments, as yet. Weeks and months are flying by, as the end of my final year at Uni approaches. Scary yet exciting and extremely busy.

I have finally got the hang of using Illustrator, though its taken me quite a few weeks. My Digital Communication class has really helped me with the technical side of designing, which is fantastic as it's alot quicker with making designs, editing them and experimenting with colours,fabric, and details...

I made these three boards of my designs using Illustrator. Though the garments are simple in design, the mix and clash of textures, plaids and floral fabrics, makes the designs more visually interesting and quirky.
